abou diaby

The Department for Work and Pensions has announced the signing of Abou Diaby, following the midfielder’s release from Arsenal.

The 29-year-old was said to be accepting of the move, and that he was attracted by the governmental department’s attractive benefits concerning ill-health and disability.

Terms of Diaby’s transfer are undisclosed, but it is believed that he will receive a basic salary of £75 per week, with that figure topped up by various ‘allowances’.

The DWP themselves have said they are ‘delighted’ to welcome Diaby to his local job centre, noting that he is joining fellow high-profile names such as Bongani Khumalo, Glen Johnson, and former Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer Ed Balls.
